Kremlin’s response
Peskov first responded to a question about possible telephone communication between the two presidents this week, in order to discuss the reason why Trump is angry, saying: “Vladimir Putin remains open to such a (telephone) communication and, if needed, he can agree.”
He then clarified that: “For the time being there is no scheduled phone call between the two presidents.” He then responded to a question about the restoration of the bilateral relations pursued by the Trump government:
