News poll of SKAI and Pulse was presented tonight in the Central Newsletter with Sia Kosionis.
Removal of permanence in the State: Public opinion is divided
Concerning the debate on the revision of Article 103 of the Constitution and the removal of permanence in the State, in cases such as “structural, prolonged or permanent professional deficiency” or systematic refusal to work, citizens’ views are divergent.
- 42% of the total sample agrees with such a move.
- 32% respond “yes, under conditions”.
- 18% completely disagree (“no”).
- A 8% say “I don’t know/don’t answer”.
Employment -class resolution reveals interesting differences:
- Private workers appear more positive, with 42% saying “yes” and 39% “yes, under conditions”.
- On the contrary, public sector workers are more cautious, with 36% disagreeing (“no”) and only 18% saying “yes”, while 41% agree “under conditions”.
- Among pensioners, 32% agree (“yes”), 41% “yes, under conditions” and 18% disagree (“no”).
Investigation of government responsibilities:
Regarding how to investigate possible responsibilities of current or former members of the government and deputy ministers, the majority of citizens express a clear preference for direct reference to the natural judge.
- 70% of the total sample believes that it would be better for direct reference to the natural judge.
- Only 15% believe that the current system (setting up a parliamentary committee, configuration of findings and a decision of the House to prosecution/reference) is the best.
- 7% suggest “something else”, while 8% say “I don’t know/don’t answer”.
The preference for the natural judge is evident in all age groups:
- At ages 17-29, 69% in favor of the natural judge.
- At ages 30-44, this figure is 74%.
- At 45-59 years, 72% agrees with the natural judge.
- At 60 years and older, 67% prefers direct reference.
Even by voting intention, this trend is dominant:
- Among those intended to vote on ND, 77% chooses the natural judge.
- Correspondingly, 58%in PASOK Change.
- In Freedom Cruise, 71%.
- In the “gray zone”, 73%.
‘No’ to Turkey
In relation to the debate in the EU To strengthen European defense and potential partnerships with third countries, including Turkey, Greek citizens appear cautious.
- 56% of the total sample disagree (“no”) with Turkey’s participation.
- 30% agree “under conditions”.
- Only a 4% agree unequivocally (“yes”).
- 10% say “I don’t know/don’t answer”.
The disagreement is strongly regardless of political self -determination and intention to vote, with the rates of ‘no’ ranging from 48% (freedom) to 75% (right).

Casus Belli: Inadequate recall of
Regarding the prime minister’s report that in order for Turkey to work on European defense, the concerns of Greece and Cyprus, with an explicit reference to Casus Belli, should be taken into account, the poll investigated how a possible recall of Casus Belli from Turkey would be evaluated.
- 54% of respondents believe that a recall of Casus Belli would be “sufficient as the first move, which would be followed, in the future, by others”.
- However, a significant 22% calls it “inadequate movement”.
- Only 7% consider it “a sufficient move on the part of Turkey”.
- 17% say “I don’t know/don’t answer”.
The intention of voting
Pulse’s poll also presents the intention of voting, which is an assessment and does not constitute an election effect.
- New Democracy: 24%.

In the distribution scenario of the undecided (without white/invalid/abstention/indecisive/AI), ND leads with 29%, PASOK Change with 13.5%and Freedom Cruise with 13.5%.
