The United States and their European allies are completing a 30 -day ceasefire proposal in Ukraine, which, if rejected, will lead them to jointly impose new sanctions on Russia, a French diplomatic source said today.
The source said the proposal has not yet received the green light and will be studied during the weekend at the summit to be held in Ukraine. The Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will participate in a teleconference on the issue that will take place shortly before 12 noon tomorrow. The teleconference is convened by French President Emmanuel Macron and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Sir Keir Starmer.
