Prokopis Pavlopoulos: “Turkey’s involvement in European defense” is unthinkable “

Referring to developments in Turkey, the former president expressed his concern about the absence of real democracy in the country, especially after 2017 and the imposition of the Presidential System by Erdogan. He called on the West and the EU not to retreat such phenomena, and described the cancellation of the Greek Prime Minister’s visit to Turkey.

Regarding the role of justice, Mr Pavlopoulos stressed the debt of its officials to decide unacceptable and fairly crisis, and also referred to Donald Trump’s electoral victory in the US, referring to the geopolitical changes it would make.
