Significant rise recorded her share PPC to supply of electricity, as it was reinforced in July from 51.74% to 53.80% based on ADMIE data.
From the newest monthly newsletter for the commission, it appears that PPC started this year to 51.08% and now rose 2.7% to the cargo representation.
At the same time, alternative suppliers had losses in July. The second largest company, Metlen, fell 19.64% to 19.11%, from 9.78% to 8.48% and Elpedison from 5.76% to 5.39%.
Interesting is the situation in the individual markets: in the high trend in industries, Metlen has expanded its lead with a monthly rise of 2.1% and a share of 47.7%. In the middle voltage, PPC remained in the first place with a constant rate of close to 37%, while in the low voltage it won a unit reaching 64.4%.
The above shares are interesting, as this period is observed in consumer preferences in terms of the type of invoice they choose. Last year and this year there is a flight from the green adjustable tariffs to blue, as they are more advantageous on the basis of the conditions formed. Soon the new red invoice will be in the equation, which will be something between fixed and floating.
By extension, competition between providers continues unabated through the offering of new products and services. Now, the factor in the calculations of the companies will also be played by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ new warning that he wants to see lower retail prices for consumers from now on.
