Completed European mission contacts in Tripoli Libya with the National Unity Government for the migratory pressures to Crete. At the first meeting in Tripoli with the internationally recognized government, the Minister of Immigration and Asylum, Thanos Plevrisalong with the EU delegation and the Commissioner for Migration and Internal Affairs, Magnus Brunner, sent a clear message that they would help Libya keep illegal immigrants, prevent departures to the EU, and at the same time return to the illegal immigrants.
Crete, as highlighted, is under huge pressure from Eastern Libya and this is something to stop, both the European side and Mr Plevris said in his statement after the meeting.

The second meeting in Benghazi with Khalifa Happear is expected to begin.
