After 27 years of operation, the Financial Crime Prosecution Body (SDOE) ceases to exist, as of today (6.10.25), his responsibilities formally pass on to the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE).
By joint decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance George Kotsiras and the Commander of AADE George Pitsilis, the transfer of all services, organic positions, staff, archives, logistical equipment and all kinds of assets of SDOE and logistical equipment of the General Directorate of the General Department of the General Department of the General Secretariat for the General Directorate -General for the General Directorate of Economics.
From today, all SDOE elements are transferred to the relevant AADE Information Systems. For the transfer of all rights, claims, assets and logistical equipment for the needs of the SDOE, a detailed delivery – receipt protocol will be signed between the competent services of the AADE and the Ministry of National Economy and Finance.
Employees (about 360) of the SDOE that are transferred to the AADE maintain their placement in their respectively transferred organic positions, their employment relationship and their general service status until 31.12.2025 and during that period do not participate in travel procedures, except in the case of Happy Coverage.
Pending employees’ appointment procedures after 06/10/2025 will be completed by AADE, in which all relevant files will have to come in both physical and digital form. SDOE employees carrying out audits are obliged to testify to the HRD Management Directorate (DDAD) of AADE, a report signed by themselves and by their boss until 30.09.2025, with a description of the audit items and the accounts of 20. They are obliged to submit with their arrival to AADE.
The Heads of Heads and Deputy Heads of Organic Units of all levels of the SSDOE continue to perform their duties in the organic units in which they serve and after being transferred to AADE until 31/12/2025.
