PASOK – Movement for Change in the Government and Kyriakos Mitsotakis fought fierce criticism on the occasion of Prime Minister’s press conference In the context of the 89th TIF.
Party spokesman Costas Tsoukalas accused Mr Mitsotakis of representing a “incomprehensible system of power”, which – as he said – produces inequalities, corruption, disadvantages and impunity. “A prime minister attached to the chair of power and a government dipped in scandals, presented as the only” right “government,” he said.
Mr Tsoukalas emphasized that the prime minister had depreciated serious cases such as the scandal in OPEKEPE and the management of the telecommunications on the railways, while accusing Mr Mitsotakis of preventing his justice from investigating the European Ministers.
At the same time, PASOK stresses that the prime minister appears inconsistent on the issue of independent authorities and denounces government interventions to control their composition. On the work of the Greece -Cyprus electric interconnection, the party points out that the government never gave guarantees of completion and remains exposed to Turkish reactions.
The press spokesman also accused Mr Mitsotakis of not dealing with precision and cartels, citing the rents, which – as he said – increased by 50% of his rule. “He cynically proposed co -habitation as a solution,” he noted.
For education, PASOK stressed that the government abandoned triumphants to establish foreign university branches, proving – as it argued – that the real aim of the reform was to “university” college.
“Citizens were tired of lies and propaganda. Greece can no longer withstand a backlash. The demand for political change is more timely than ever, “Mr Tsoukalas concluded, stressing that PASOK” envisions a Greece for everyone, against Mr Mitsotakis’ logic that “someone wins when someone loses”.
