A two-front attack was launched by the PASOK MP, Paris Koukoulopoulosspeaking in Parliament on the occasion of the debate on blessing of sheep and goats, and addressed the government with the ultimatum: “Or protect the farmers or resign».
The MP called on the government to stop the “tactic of netting” for the OPEKEPE scandal and see to it that the honest farmers are promptly paid ‘the stolen and the arrears».
“The scandal is blue…”
Mr. Koukoulopoulos, while admitting that the ND government found a “slippery substrate” from SYRIZA, emphasized that the scandal is “blue”. The reason, he said, is that the current government, instead of acting immediately, let the “party” develop for five yearsresulting in the “theft from the pockets of honest farmers’ to add up his amount one billion euros.
In fact, he accused the ND parliamentary representative, Makarios Lazaridis, of trying to “miserable offsets” on a matter of “chronological responsibilities”.
“…but SYRIZA created the background”
The PASOK MP, however, attributed the beginning of the problem to the SYRIZA government, speaking of “accidental manipulations». He specifically referred to pastures who returned to the country in 2017, accusing SYRIZA of keeping a huge stockpile “undercover”creating a background that moved “between amateurism and stupid customer logic».
In a mocking tone, he stated that “then they swamfor the first time, sheep from Crete to the Peloponnese” and immediately after “the bees came… Not the bees, the criminal gang of frappes».
“We are clean – We do not lift a fly on our sword”
In closing, Paris Koukoulopoulos clarified PASOK’s position, sending a message in all directions: “Don’t expect a PASOK member or executive who has put his hand in the pot [ότι θα τον καλύψουμε]. Everyone knows it, we are clean in this and we do not lift a fly on our sword. It has been clarified by Nikos Androulakis these”.
