Pappas attack on Tsipras for the “New Party”: “Our vision is socialism with democracy and freedom, neither participatory nor democratic capitalism”

A fierce attack on Alexis Tsipras and the new Left reserved from the step of the 5th SYRIZA Conference -the former trustee of his partner and Minister Nikos Pappas.

All this days after he was at the event of the former Prime Minister’s homonymous institute.

Koumoundourou’s prominent executive in his brief position did not hesitate to exercise a harsh accusation for everyone and for all that led SYRIZA -PS to a vortex position. However, omitting any of his own responsibility for the dismantling image presented today by the former opposition party, he focused on Alexis Tsipras’ face mainly by charging him with the 2023 electoral collapse with the argument that failed to succeed in enlargement of the party at that time.

He then did not hesitate to comment critically and recent statements by the former prime minister in the New York Times who spoke of the need for progressive forces to fight not for democratic socialism, but of a democratic capitalism. “Our vision is socialism with democracy and freedom, it is neither the participatory nor democratic capitalism,” the former Tsipras governments minister said meaningfully.

SYRIZA’s delegate with a Palestinian scarf on his shoulders asked to make the party its own “Truth Group”

In closing his speech, Mr Pappas made a direct reference to the scenarios that want the former prime minister to establish a new party in the near future, fully rejecting the possibility of man in whose name he and his companions once fell. Indeed, in an aggressive style, he made fun of Alexis Tsipras’ current attitude on the issue, using the phrase “for some may pending decisions”, while adding that no alliance (referring to what was said in the recent event). “Why we even hear a lot about new parties,” he said meaningfully, wondering what program the former prime minister will return and how different he will be from the SYRIZA program, possibly adhering to the fact that Alexis Tsipras, according to experienced analysts, would have been in the area.

Finally, it should be noted that despite the attack launched today by the former minister a few days ago he was at the conference organized by the Tsipras Institute, and during the speech of the former prime minister he was among those who applauded him.

The bitterness Spirtz

Earlier, Christos Spirtzis made a harsh and harsh criticism of the leadership of the party and the organization as a whole. He described the conference as a “procession”, with no real strategy and political stigma, and expressed frustration over the lack of direction and accountability of those responsible.

Specifically on the issue of tragedy in Tempe, Spirtz showed bitterness to deal with SYRIZA’s leadership, noting that he did not receive the necessary support for investigating responsibilities, despite the fact that there was no evidence against him. On the contrary, some even asked for his dismissal. At the same time, he accused the party’s president, Socrates Famello, of not even issuing a statement of support for his face on the issue of Tempi.

In his speech, Spirtzis stressed that he was quiet his conscience about his work as Minister of Infrastructure in the government of Alexis Tsipras.
