The budget to reinforce the establishment and operation of new small and medium -sized enterprises is increasing in tourism of the “Competitiveness” program of NSRF 2021-2027, by decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance, Nikos Papathanassis.
Specifically, the budget available from EUR 250 million is now EUR 375 million, ie 150% compared to the original provision. The increase in resources available comes by decision by Mr Papathanassis in response to the extremely high demand through the applications. This development implies the integration of more beneficiaries into the action and consequently the support of more investment projects into one of the most neuralgic and dynamic sectors of the Greek economy, tourism.
It is emphasized that 6669 applications have been filed for funding throughout the territory.
