The membership decisions 24 AEI of the country in the implementation of the Act of “Acquisition of Academic Teaching Experience” for the academic year of 2025-2026, with a total public expenditure of 23.75 million euros, under the “Human Resources and Social Cohesion” program 2021-2027, signed by the Deputy Minister of Economy Nikos Papathanassis.
The Act has the beneficiaries of the Special Research Funds (ELKE) accounts of HEIs and offers the opportunity to obtain academic teaching experience to 1300 beneficiaries, through the assignment of self-teaching to a doctoral degree holders, in total of HEIs for the academic year. The aim is to upgrade skills, to facilitate career transitions and the development of the professional mobility of beneficiaries, but also to strengthen the programs and teaching staff of the institutions.
The HEIs are: the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with € 2,356,495.60, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with € 2,356,495.60, the University of Patras with € 2,107,524.51, the University of Western Attica, with € 1.548.5.5 The Democritus University of Thrace with € 1,486,404.91, the University of Ioannina with € 1,470.013.36, the International University of Greece with € 1,450.151.14, the University of Western Macedonia with 942.598.17 € 897.165.95 €, the Hellenic Mediterranean University with 851.963.73 €, the University of the Aegean with 810.321.40 €, the Ionian University with 634.441.07 €, the National Technical University of Athens with € 616.314.19 Piraeus with € 534,481.89, the University of Macedonia with € 477,215.93, the Technical University of Crete with 313,112.19 €, the Agricultural University of Athens with 393,836.43 €, the Harokopio University with 219.989.75 €, the Higher School of Pedagogical and Technological Education with € 167,661.79 and the Athens University of Economics and Business with € 166.194.39.
