Candidates of General High Schools for admission to higher education are giving their own “battle” Panhellenicand tomorrow, Friday, June 6, 2025, are examined in history.
The examinations of the nationwide examinations are completed tomorrow, Friday, June 6, 2025, with the courses: History (OP Humanities), Physics (OP Positive Studies and Health Studies) and Economics (Economics Studies).
Until Wednesday, June 25th, the first phase of the GEL and EPAL courses are expected to issue the majority of those competing in the Panhellenic 2025.

Each exams, shortly after 10.00, are published in Official Website of the Ministry of Education The issues that have fallen into the lessons examined.

How is history lesson examined
History as a orientation lesson is examined by a combination of questions, which are classified into two groups.
(a) The first group includes two issues that can be analyzed in questions that control the historical knowledge of the candidates (historical concepts, historical events, dates, historical action, social, economic, political and cultural phenomena, etc.) and their understanding.
(b) The second group includes at least two (2) issues that require the synthesis of historical knowledge and critical ability (evaluations of historical events or historical persons, the analysis of causes or conditions that contributed to the formation and development of important historical phenomena, etc.). In this case, history processing questions may be used, which is given to candidates in photocopies. This material concerns written historical sources, visual works, maps, inter-letters, etc. used as evidence or as a means of pumping data to draw historical conclusions.
The score is distributed by 50% to each of these groups. The distribution of the score to the questions of each group may be differentiated according to the degree of difficulty in each of them, which is determined in the formulation of the issues and announced to the candidates in writing.
Special courses
Finally, it is worth noting that the exams of the special courses will be conducted from June 14th to June 25th 2025. Similarly, the conduct of health examinations and practical testing of candidates (GEL and EPAL) for admission to the Departments of Physical Education and Sports (TEFAA) from 16 to 16.
