Panhellenic 2025: 3 important professions in the field of health

The health industry in both GEL and EPAL is traditionally a very interesting field for Panhellenic candidates.

In addition to classical specialties and schools such as medicine and dentistry, there are other specialties that play a catalytic role in this field and often students either overtake or do not know.

To see 3 of them:

  1. Healthologists: Older ages will remember the industry as health visitors related to the earlier TEI of Athens. These expert scientists with the mission of ensuring public health and ensure hygiene at all stages of production, trafficking and marketing, hygiene and labor safety, etc. They seem to have an active role and involvement in a variety of activities and professional fields in the coming years. The Greek tertiary is also offered a relevant curriculum at the University of Western Attica (Department of Public and Community Health).
  2. Biostatistics – Molecular Biologists – Biotechnologists: As expert scientists who have the ability to perceive living mechanisms of living systems, understand functional abnormalities, diseases, viruses, bodies and analyze by exporting specific findings, these specialties are no longer seeing them not only as laboratory scientists but also as laboratory scientists.
  3. Nurses: Whether we are referring to nurses with pathological or surgical specialization or general nurses, professionals in the industry, along with doctors, proved to have the dominant role and work. Reasonably, any country wants to shield its health system will not be able to overlook the staffing of its hospitals with an increasing number of nurses.

The health sector is crucial for any society and organized state.

The bet for all economies and education systems is to prepare for these upcoming changes, cultivate skills and help existing and future executives to update their knowledge so that they do not stay out of the labor market due to developments and to integrate them.

After all, who imagined 30 years ago that today and in the daily lives of health professionals, all these valuable tools that artificial intelligence now offer would be practically and researching.

Tools that will facilitate their work but will not change their mission as some of the most basic and “human” professions!
