Panathinaikos: The new organizational chart at the “Clover” Academy

THE Panathinaikos It made a series of changes to the “clover” academy, with the aim of further rejuvenating the small teams of the football department.

The new organizational chart is, therefore, a fact, with Panathinaikos PAE announcing all the changes, with the new Vice President of the team, Takis Fyssa commenting on developments at the “Green” Academy.

The Panathinaikos Academy is entering a new era, progressing to a fundamental renewal.

The 3rd Vice -President, Strategic Advisor and Ambassador of Panathinaikos, Takis Fyssas, said characteristically for the new era in which the clover academy enters:

“The concept of football academy in Greece has been linked to Panathinaikos in recent decades. Our club was a pioneer in this piece, reaching the creation of footballers who loved Panathinaikos, honored the emblem, crowned European champions with National Greece, making a career in great European clubs, but also in Greek clubs.

Panathinaikos President Yiannis Alafouzos decided last spring to rejuvenate the academy of the club to reach the level we were used to again. Our plan has been implemented for months, including a radical renewal of persons who staff the training potential, upgrading benefits with top pyramids the modern training facilities in “George Kalafatis” and of course the aim of creating football personalities.

The pillar of the new effort is Theodoros Eleftheriadis, a man who has linked his name to the most successful and contemporary academy in Greece for over a decade. Together we “built” step by step the Academy’s new organizational chart. Our partners were very carefully selected, based on the ability to meet high demands.

At the same time we are in contact with great European associations in order to cooperate and derive elements of their know -how in the field of academies.

We have a great challenge ahead of us: to bring back the Panathinaikos Academy where it deserves it. At the top! It is a constant struggle, wants plan, method, perseverance and patience. “

The general coordination belongs to Takis Fyssa while the technical director of the Academy, Theodoros Eleftheriadis, has a key role.

The performance of Vassilis Alexiou, the co -ordinator of the goalkeepers coaches, is George Mountakis, who also maintains his role in the first team, constituting the link between the two stages, responsible for the Analysis Department is Predrag Sobotovic, while the Department of Analysis is the department.

At the same time, great importance has been given to the individual evolution of athletes. Stavros Amanatidis has taken over the field of Personalised Activation and Orientation, while Yurkas Seitaridis leads the Youth Phase Development sector. Dionysis Papanastasis deals with technical training, enhancing the level of young players.

The academy’s ergophysiologist is Giorgos Ziogas, Nutritionist Yiannis Kotsis, while Vangelis Manolopoulos undertakes the neuralgic field of psychological support for the children of the Academy.

Finally, Yiannis Moustakalis remains responsible for the medical staff.
