Panathinaikos: Matias Lesor enters training

THE Panathinaikos lost Rhyshon Holmes to injury again but the news is positive for Ergin Ataman after the American center avoided the worst as he prepares to return to training and Matias Lessor.

Rhyshon Holmes ultimately suffered a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee and avoided cruciate ligament damage, which is expected to keep him out for about a month, by which time Panathinaikos’ other center, Matias Lessor, is expected to be back.

The French athlete has been struggling with injuries since last year and missed the start of this season, but within the next few days it is estimated that he will be able to start team training, so that he can officially return to the court in mid-November. The “greens” hope Lesor will be available for one of the games against Paris (11/11/25) or Real Madrid (11/13/25) in the Euroleague.
