Panathinaikos: Hordour Magnuson returned to full training rates after five months

Hordour Magnuson’s return to a full training program, 140 days after his second surgery on his left knee – for “damage” to meniscus – was the most important news that came out of today’s (09.04.2025) training Panathinaic.

Following last year’s injury to the anterior Hiastos on September 5, 2023, and the Panathinaikos derby with AEK on Avenue (1-2), Hordour Magnuson returned to training at the beginning of the season. However, it did not take time in November, suffered a new knee injury, making a second surgery this time in a Barcelona clinic.

There he underwent arthroscopy on the meniscus (he had operated at this point before he came to Panathinaikos) but also a tendon for the knee stabilization. He has been out for less than five months, but now he is able to play a full schedule and will be seen if he will take time in one of the last four playoffs.

Beyond that, Bakassetas, Kotsiras, and Vagiannidis, Senkefeld were treated today.

In today’s training program, the “Greens began their preparations ahead of Sunday’s (13.04.2025) match with PAOK at OAKA, warm -up, ball traffic exercises, while completing with a half game.
