32 people lost their lives in Pakistan from the rainfall that has hit the country over the past 3 days. The victims either drowned by the flooding either killed by the collapses of houses and roofs.
Rainfall started last Wednesday (25.06.2025) finding the Pakistan state mechanism unprepared even though it’s time monsoon. Half of the dead ‘lost’ in the floods are children.
In the province of Kiber-Pkktunci, in the northwestern part of the country, on the border with Afghanistan, sudden floods and roof collapses resulted in being killed 19 people, including 8 children.


In the area 6 people were injured, while 56 houses suffered damageof which 6 were completely destroyed.

13 of the people who were killed, between them 5 children, They were in the Suat Valley, where, according to local media, the instant flood of a river were dragged by families on its banks.

The disaster management authority Beanthe most densely populated province of the country with a population of nearly 130 million in the eastern part, adjacent to India, counts, on its part, 13 dead.

8 of these victims are children, all killed in the collapse of the roof or a wall of their home. Adults also died in sudden floods in Punjab, the provincial authority report said.
The Pakistani Meteorological Service warns of the risk of heavy rainfall and therefore the possibility of lightly floods until at least Tuesday.
