At 11.42 billion euros in total the value of regulated debt through out -of -court mechanism with the number of successful settings reaching 34,872.
In particular, in April, the regulated debts amounted to EUR 513 million corresponding to 1,439 arrangements through the out -of -court mechanism. The number of new applications (5,480 in April) is dynamically moving with the final submissions of applications reaching 2,850.
At the same time, 3,494 vulnerable households have benefited from debt arrangements in accordance with the already established obligation and 191 debtors managed to suspend scheduled auctions using the advance measure.
Through the out -of -court mechanism, debts to the State (AADE, KEAO) and Financial Institutions (Banks, Servicers) were deleted about 3.61 billion euros. Specifically, the average haircut for debts to the State is 15% and is 30.4% for financial bodies. Finally, almost 50% of the debts to financial institutions received a debt of more than 30%.
It is recalled that by 30.04.2025 the improved platform of the out -of -court debt settlement mechanism has been put into operation. Recent interventions aim to extend access to more citizens, offering for the first time a substantial way out to the middle class, enhancing the effectiveness of regulations and ensuring rapid, fair and sustainable debt settlement solutions without consenting financial entities.
The central point is the doubling of the financial criteria for beneficiaries receiving a compulsory proposal from all creditors, for debts of up to EUR 300,000, which is delayed at least 90 days.
With the upgrading of the out -of -court mechanism, the state provides thousands of debtors new opportunities for their debts, enhancing economic stability and supporting social cohesion.
In the bilateral loan arrangements with the 4 largest services (Intrum, Cepal, Dovalue, Qquant), 230 million arrangements were made for March, which correspond to 4,687 debtors. It is noted that 41% of the arrangements relate to mortgages.
