Over the course of 12 months, Opel will introduce three new engine families, petrol and diesel. The aim is to increase power and torque while reducing consumption. The first new engine is the turbocharged 1.6, with direct injection technology.
Its production will start at the end of 2012 in Hungary, it will be available in various power versions and will equip several models of the brand, such as Astra and Insignia.
