According to information, in her apology for the OPEKEPE scandal, she claimed that she was not aware of the activities that her ex-husband was doing and claimed that he maintains a legitimate business and has received a grant related to the subject.
The accused also claimed that the money found in her accounts was related to the business activity.
At the same time, she emphasized that her mistake was that she blindly trusted him and had full access to all of her company’s finances.
The process will continue with the apology of, according to the case file, the leader of the criminal group, which is expected to be marathon, while the last group of accused will be led for apologies on Monday, October 27.
Earlier, the alleged deputy leader in the OPEKEPE illegal subsidies scandal was sent to prison, bringing the number of temporary detainees to nine.
This is a 38-year-old man, who allegedly had the role of deputy leader in the ring for the scandal with the illegal subsidies of OPEKEPE.
According to the indictment, he worked in declaration reception centers in Crete and, taking advantage of his position, submitted Unified Requests for Assistance (EUA) on behalf of members of the criminal organization, as well as virtual electronic agreements for the lease of agricultural plots.
