In the first payment proceeded under the new transitional administration, OPECEPE in (3.9.25) by signaling an important step in stabilizing payment procedures in the agricultural sector.
The OPEKEPE approvals process is aimed at creating modern control and payment services. Applications for transfer payments to the primary sector of the Greek economy are controlled on the basis of optimal practices to ensure that only beneficiaries who really deserve it are paid.
In total, EUR 1,648,370 were paid to 4,071 beneficiaries. Of these, 317,457 euros were allocated to 844 gearbox producers, € 213,765 in 1,425 citrus beneficiaries, EUR 127,259 to 514 bean producers, edible oil and Fava Santorini, while the largest payment was for Mastic Chios, with € 989,889.
In this context, 93 beneficiaries were not paid, with their information being forwarded to AADE for further cross -checks.
All payments were made in accordance with the European Commission’s regulations and the applicable national regulatory framework, including administrative, cross -sectional and on -the -spot checks.
The aim of the new OPEKEPE administration is to enhance the organization’s credibility and to restore past dysfunctions through modern control and payment processes that will enhance the confidence of producers.
