Enters a new era of development OPAPwith the change of its trade name (rebranding) to White.
This historical change, which it was officially announced on October 13, 2025is now on track, as the management of OPAP presented to the employees the initial design for the rebranding in Allwyn, with an implementation horizon from January 2026. In the presentation made by Jan Karas, President and CEO of the company, and members of the Management, the people of OPAP had the opportunity to learn more about the strategy behind the rebranding and the perspectives that are opening up.
The transition to the new era was enthusiastically celebrated by OPAP people, who were in for a surprise: The McLaren F1 Team showcar, which is touring all over Greece, stopped at the company’s headquarters.

Moving into the future, with a strong foundation in heritage
As highlighted, the rebranding to Allwyn is a strategic decision, made after a thorough examination of market data and with the aim of strengthening the connection with customers – and especially with the younger generations. On this basis, Allwyn’s international, ‘fresh’, modern and attractive identity will be exploited.
The rebranding of OPAP to Allwyn takes place with the aim of exploiting new growth opportunities. However, this change does not alter the company’s DNA, heritage and impact on the Greek economy and society, which form the basis for its further development.
In this context, the Allwyn brand will become visible in OPAP’s retail network and online platforms, as well as in various touch points. At the same time, OPAP’s flagship social initiatives in the areas of Health, Sports, Employment and Vulnerable Social Groups will continue under the Allwyn brand and be further strengthened.
In any case, the identity and name of OPAP’s popular games (JOKER, LOTTO, KINO, BET, etc.) do not change, continuing to offer unique entertainment experiences.
The prospects that the rebranding opens up in Allwyn
Through the rebranding, the company’s commitment to the evolution of the customer experience is further strengthened. The even closer cooperation with Allwyn will lead to new product propositions, the provision of more and state-of-the-art digital capabilities and the exploitation of exclusive content (eg Allwyn online casino games). At the same time, the protection of players remains at the center, with the implementation of a comprehensive framework for Responsible Gaming.
However, the prospects for OPAP people are also important, since the rebranding will allow closer cooperation with Allwyn executives, the exchange of best practices, knowledge and experiences, as well as the creation of new opportunities for professional and personal development.
In addition, OPAP’s partner network is also entering a new phase of development, for which new opportunities are opening up. Specifically, as part of the rebranding, significant investments will be made to further modernize and upgrade the stores, in order to offer a more digitized and fun experience to customers. Benefits will also arise from Allwyn’s international innovations and sponsorship partnerships (eg Formula 1 and McLaren team sponsorships).
