Exciting moments at SEF before its start Olympic – Zalgiris for the 10th matchday of the Euroleague. The “red and white” honored them Nigel Williams Goss and Moses Wright for their contribution to the team, with the audience giving them a standing ovation.
The owners of KAE Olympiacos, Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos, presented the plaques of honor to the two Americans, who played for Piraeus until last season, before moving to Kaunas for Zalgiris. Nigel Williams Goss, in fact, completed his second term at the club, with him leaving Piraeus having offered a lot during the time he wore the “red and white”.
Along with Goss at SEF, his family was also present, with his little son becoming the… protagonist of the evening. And that’s because before the jamball, the Olympiakos players approached him to play with him, with Thomas Walkup and Sasha Vezenkov giving him a warm hug, while also giving a tender snapshot!
Understandably, the fans of Olympiakos idolized the two former players of the team, with the atmosphere being quite emotional for both, who won the Greek championship last season.
It is worth noting that although Nigel Williams-Goss cannot play in the game due to injury, he nevertheless traveled with Zalgiris to Greece wanting to watch the match from the bench.
