In his announcement, Amateur Olympiacos is in a hurry to recall that five parts of his (women’s basketball, men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s handball) remain without a seat in Piraeus, stressing that the next step to be made by a modern -day construction.

“With emotion, pride and absolute satisfaction we announce that a timeless dream of the red -white family finally gets flesh and bones: the construction of the new, modern, aquatic park was approved and Olympiakos finally acquires the headquarters it deserves.
The emperor of the Greek pole and swimming acquires the house he is entitled to.
Olympiacos is the main donor of the national teams and in every way supports Greek sports, with the presence of European events in the final stages of European events, with international successes and a bid that exceeds 3 million euros to the State and the Treasury this year.
All this without its own facilities to date. All this with the power of faith, work and history.
After many years of efforts, dedication and claims, the law was rendered.
This historic moment is the result of a collective journey and Olympiacos SFP. He has to publicly express his thanks to all those who contributed, each of his own designs, so that this work takes the path of implementation.
First and foremost, to the President of PAE Olympiakos, Mr. Vangelis Marinakis. The man who has been morally and financially supported for 15 years, with consistency and self -denial, all parts of the Amateur Olympiacos, constituting the steady pillar of the constant rise and successes of the club in all sports. From the first moment he was a helper and a pillar of this effort. The promise he has made for years has become an act today. With constant presence, practical support and decisive contribution, it has contributed substantially to the realization of a dream of life for Olympiacos.
We also express our warm thanks to the Attica Region and personally to the Regional Governor, Mr. Nikos Chardalia, who incorporated the creation of the Olympic Swimming Pool in a wider development plan in Attica and especially on the coastal front. Similarly, the contribution of Piraeus Vice -Mayor Mrs Stavroula Antonakou was also important, which steadily supported the promotion of the work by the region.
Olympiacos also thanks the administration of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, and in particular the President Mrs. Christina Tsiligiri, for its cooperation and decisive contribution to the resolution of difficulties presented. Without its support, many of the obstacles that arose may have not been overcome.
This is how the vision of the Olympic state was a desire and need for the whole world of Olympiacos. It is the dream we all share. Have every part of the legend its own home, so that our teams cease… wandering from municipality to municipality and housing, as they deserve, in facilities that deserve the grandeur of the largest polyatrical club.
Even today, five parts of Olympiacos remain essentially without headquarters. Men’s and women’s volleyball, women’s basketball, despite being competing in the leading European events, such as the Champions League and Euroleague, and both handball sections, continue to be hosted in other seats (except Piraeus).
The creation of a modern indoor stadium that will house them, in a neighboring or adjacent space on the wider axis, is not a desire. Is a fair request. It is the next step to be taken to complete the real Olympic State in Piraeus. And we cannot imagine that there is someone who does not want this dream to become a reality.
