THE Keenan Evans suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his game Olympiakou with Zalgiris for the 10th game of the Euroleague, causing him to miss the rest of the season, forcing the Piraeus to enter the market for a guard again.
Olympiacos acquired Frank Nilikina this year, but Giorgos Bartzokas doesn’t seem to count particularly on the “ace” Saben Lee and so the Piraeus need another guard, after the injury of Keenan Evans.
The “red and whites” were waiting for the 29-year-old American to return to fill the gap, but his new injury in just his second game of the season will again lead the team to the market for the acquisition of a player.
Olympiakos and Giorgos Bartokas will examine the available solutions, now looking for a player who can create for himself as well.
