THE Olympic “Scanned” with 86-67 Dubai BC In the third EuroLeague match and made a terrible … podial in front of his fans at the SEF, winning his second victory in three matches in the competition.
In his first home game at EuroLeague, Olympiacos fought without Fournier and Wocap, but did not seem to be influenced by Vezenkov being unstoppable aggressively and Dorsey and Milutinov … supported him properly, “walking” against Dubai.
The Piraeus people significantly confined the Golemac team to their defense and thus essentially “cleaning” the game from the first half, before “echoing” the difference.
The game
Olympiacos and Dubai BC went to the start of the match, with Nilinina scoring 5 fast points for Barzoka’s team and Cabegele “responding” with easy baskets to Milutinov’s backs for the guests. Vezenkov and Dorsey “warmed up” but then the Piraeus “tightened” their defense to close the first quarter with their 23-16.
Olympiacos’ series continued in the second season and the hosts ran 12-1 to take a double-digit difference against Dubai. After a timeout, the UAE team “responded” to its own fast 6-0, but the Piraeus did not fall and followed their own pace to increase the difference again. Pies and Lee gave offensive solutions to the hosts, while Costas Antetokounbos improved the defense of the tall, to “launch” the difference to +14 before the 43-31 of the half.

In the third quarter, Olympiacos entered the match as loud, with Sasa Vezenkov set up his own personal … party against Dubai BC defense and scoring 7 consecutive points to “eject” his team’s difference. The Piraeus shows ready to … finish the match, but a little “relaxation” in the defense and two consecutive three -pointers by Bertans, “gathered” the difference for the UAE team. Barzokas’ team, however, kept the lead, with the period completing even Dorsey’s 3 shots for 71-52 in favor of the “reds”.
The fourth period was thus a formal process in the SEF, with Olympiacos but not leaving the … foot from Gazi and Dubai BC not scoring against his defense, nor in the finale of the match. George Bardzokas even withdrew his “key” early on and saw his team hold his opponents below 70 points for the final 86-67.
