Moments of pride were given by the blind standard-bearer in Gavalou of the municipality of Agrini who paraded for the anniversary of October 28.

Specifically, today in the student parade for the 85th anniversary of “NO” on October 28, 1940, the Gavalous Day High School had the honor and joy of having as a flag bearer the 3rd grade student Ioannis Papathanasiou, who has total vision loss.

In Anthiros Argitheas, where only two students attend the school, children from a private school chose to march by their side in a movement with strong symbolism.

The governor of Thessaly, Dimitris Kouretas, also chose to attend this particular parade, who, among other things, mentioned his concern that next year the school may not have children. “Today I was at the parade in Argithea. They were two sixth graders. So next year there will be no parade”, he said characteristically.
