By order of the Minister of Immigration and Asylum, Thanos Plevris will not be moved by any of the “Daniel” floodworks who are temporarily hosted in the structure of controlled asylum seekers in Koutsochero.
According to an informal information from the ministry, Greek citizens affected by the natural disaster and found refuge in the structure’s premises will remain there for as long as it is required. It is noted that their stay is not affected by the wider government planning for the implementation of the recent amendment to book illegal immigrants.
The Ministry of Immigration and Asylum emphasizes that the needs of the affected remain a top priority and assures that there is no question of moving the guest floods in the immediate or medium -term future.
