The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, He goes to the United Kingdom, where he will be a keynote speaker, on the morning of Friday, October 10, 2025, at the opening of the 9th Greek -British Symposium at the University of Cambridge (Jesus College), entitled “Greece and the United Kingdom – Partners in An Age of Uncerty”.
As part of the visit, Mr. Dendias will be briefed at the UK Maritime Transaction and Business Center (UKMTO) on the role of the center in securing it navigation and the support of merchant ships in high -risk areas.
During his stay in the United Kingdom, the Minister of National Defense is expected to visit the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, as well as the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth, as part of the Greek War Museum’s cooperation with the British War Museums.
In Portsmouth also, Mr. Dendias will visit the monumental wall of Normandy, where will deposit Stefano and attend a ceremony in which the memory of the Greek seafarers who participated in the landing will be honored.
Finally, during his visit to the United Kingdom, the Greek Minister will have meetings with academics and representatives of start -up companies active in the fields of innovation and artificial intelligence, in the field of security and defense.
