On Tuesday morning, he did his usual workout near his home and then went out to eat with his wife and family members at a well-known restaurant in the 16th arrondissement, according to the Paris Match.
Sarkozy spent 20 days in a 9 square meter cell at La Sade prison, in conditions he described as a “nightmare”. After his request for release from prison was accepted by the Court of Appeal, he said: “It was difficult, very difficult, as for any prisoner, I would even say exhausting.”
Although he had been invited to the November 11 ceremonies by the president of the Republic, he preferred not to attend.
