A ‘Brave intersection’ to support the young and reductions wearer Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced today (06.09.2025) from the TIF step.
As the Prime Minister announced, it will be implemented zero tax for new workers up to 25 years of age and income of up to 20,000 euros, as well as a reduction in 9% (from 22%) to 30 years.
Indicatively, the initiative for young people foresees:
- Up to 25 years old, with 15,000 euros: Annual benefit of 1,283 euros
- Up to 25 years old, with 20,000 euros: Annual benefit of 2,480 euros
- From 26-30 years old, with 20,000 euros: Annual benefit of 1,300 euros
The intervention immediately strengthens the disposable income and facilitates the stay of young people in the labor market.
Implementation parameters will be specialized at a press conference at the Treasury on Monday (08.09.2025).
