Sad images at Penn’s subway station New York. Passers-by found one wrapped in a blanket newborn which still had its umbilical cord. The little creature was thrown at the edge of the dock, among dozens of strangers while its mother had fled.
From the first moment the authorities were alerted to the abandoned newborn in one of the busiest subway stations in the entire world, that of New York, the alarm was raised to find his mother. It was found under the microscope video which shows a mysterious woman holding something in her hands as if it were a baby. This woman gets into the subway and then disappears.
The little girl was taken to the hospital where doctors gave her the necessary care. He is now in good health with the medical staff commenting that it is a miracle that he managed to survive.
A few hours later, the mysterious woman, who is assumed to be his mother, was also arrested. A case was filed against her for abandoning a child and exposing him to danger.
New York has a law that allows a parent to abandon a newborn up to 30 days old at a hospital or police or fire station without criminal consequences, as long as they notify the authorities immediately.
