A 53 -year -old man lost his life in the most tragic way as the ladder retreated firefighter who had been called upon to save him from a burning apartment in Brooklyn.
The tragic incident occurred on Monday morning (19.5.2025) in a block of flats in Sanset Park. The New York Fire Brigade was in a hurry after a fire call in the apartment in Brooklyn. As soon as the firefighters arrived, they found that they had been surrounded by the flames.
The only way out was the window. The Fire Brigade set up the vehicles outside the apartment and lifted the rescue stairs.
A video uploaded to social media shows a man coming out of a third -floor window, while smoke is pouring behind him. A firefighter is waiting for him at the top of foldable staircase to help him.
When the 53 -year -old man pressed on the staircase, she retreated and the man left the firefighter’s hands and fell into the void.

A man from Pakistan, was rushed to Maimonides Hospital Medical Center, where his death was found, according to a New York police spokesman.
