New Secretary General of Civil Protection Nikos Papaefstathiou

Nikos Papaefstathiou studied in Athens and at Department of Rural – Surveying Engineering of the NTUA, while in 2000 he acquired a master’s degree M.Sc. to Geoinformatics – GIS of NTUA.

He was an associate of the Agricultural University of Athens in the soil Laboratory as well as Department of Oenology of TEI of Athens(1994 – 2000), associate of Vocational Education and Training Organization.

In 2004 he was appointed Special Adviser to Secretary -General at the Ministry of Health and representative of the Ministry In inter -ministerial groups and committees (2004 – 2010).

In 2004 he took over the position of Vice President at EKAB and From 2006 to 2010 he was president of the same body, and since 2015 He was at the “steering wheel” of the National Health Center (EKEPY).
