New technologies recruits the financial staff to tackle tax evasion and pump 2.3 billion euros.
According to a report by ERTNEWS, these new technologies have been piloted by the financial staff and are expected to be implemented.
More specifically, the new media is:
- The digital clientele that is electronic record of customers and the comparison of the documents with those entering mydata.
- The Digital Shipping Release, which is being monitored online and aims to help the authorities eliminate transactions with virtual documents.
- The universal issue of electronic invoices from all businesses in the second half of 2025 to put a brake on fake invoices.
- Next step will be the issuance and payment of VAT per month for all businesses.
Already for new businesses, those that have begun activity since December 2024, have a monthly VAT performance. It is easier to control businesses when paying VAT each month and of course the costs are immediately controlled because a few alchemy can be done in the quarter, while it is difficult in the month.
