New “blue” blow against the government – the “guerrilla” Simopoulos

New tension prevails inside ND as the MP of Thessaloniki, Stratos Simopoulos, told Parliament that he would not vote on the legislation that provides for changes in the way the Board of Directors is appointed to the Thessaloniki International Exhibition.

According to reports, although Mr Simopoulos has signed various questions to the government ministers, it is the first time he warns or threatens that he will not vote on a legislative provision brought about by the changes to the TIF Board of Directors.

“In difficult parliamentary moments I supported the government, even on issues with which I had significant objections. But now, I find it very difficult. Mr Minister, I ask to withdraw the layout in question and discuss with the bodies to find an average solution, “he said.
