Thirty years of operating and offering to education celebrated the educational community of Neighboring On Friday, June 20, 2025, this anniversary was honored with a moving event at the school premises in Vari, in the presence of all teachers, hundreds of parents and graduates, confirming the power of the community built over the years.
The history of the schools begins with their founders, Eleftherios and Christos Neonas, who founded the school in 1973. From Marousi and Pallini to Vari, the vision remained alive: a comprehensive, modern, human and internationally oriented education.
On August 30, 1995, the school inaugurated its modern facilities in Vari. As Mr. Neighboring reminded us at the event: “With the help of God, the offer of wisdom, knowledge and tireless efforts of the School of Schools, with the stated trust of the parents who adopted our programs and assigned us the education of their children and their children, Greeks of Europe, the Greeks of Creation and Development. “
Since then, neighboring schools have been established as one of the country’s leading private educational organizations, offering, among other things, the full program of International Baccalaureate (IB) and cultivating a school environment, excellence and pedagogical care.
The founder’s reason: a promise that is kept
The purpose of neighbor schools is to provide children with all the opportunities and tools that will allow them to develop and highlight their best.
As Mr. Neighbor said: “We push children to have ambitious goals and support them to choose the university studies that want and suit them.”

And we will succeed, because our weapons are: Faith in the effectiveness of the educational process, a passion for pedagogical science, cooperation, love and respect for the child. Neighboring schools are consistently recorded each year one of the highest success indicators, both in the Pan -Hellenic Exams and the IB Diploma Program.
The main pillar of this success, according to him, is the teachers of the school. “Their presence next to each child separately, as a second family, is what makes the neighbor’s schools stand out,” Mr Neonas said.
The voice of graduates
On behalf of the Alumni Association, Mr. Stratis Doukas took over the floor, representing a whole generation of students who have gone through the classes of the Schools: “The love that graduates are returning to school today, the emotion of most of us, and the most time of time will be. On behalf of this community, a whole generation of graduates, Mr. Neighbor thank you for everything. “
The event ended with a concert attended by school graduates, and in particular Katerina Polemi, Isidoros Pateros, Alkis Zoukas and Nicole Saravakou.
