The movement of a well -known populist singer to park illegally just before his concert at Niggling Last Tuesday (29.07.2025) led to his arrest.
The folk singer was preparing for a concert in Nea Anchialos, but was eventually arrested by police officers from the Almyros Police Department.
During checks by authorities in the area, several parked vehicles were identified at points preventing traffic according to theNewspaper.gr. Among them was the artist’s car, who was preparing for his concert at that time.
When he was informed of the infringement, the singer rushed to the spot and, according to the same sources, quarreled with police officers, claiming that he was temporarily parked there to carry the concert equipment and sound machinery. The incident, however, was diverted, as it allegedly repeatedly insulted police officers, who arrested him.
The singer was taken to the patrol and transferred to the Almyros AT, while a case file was filed against him against officials and insults. On Wednesday morning, he was led before justice, where he requested a deadline to be tried on Friday.
Local police have not issued an official statement on the incident, but it is confirmed that the procedures were followed.
