“The “hidden” of PASOK cannot continue”
“In full confirmation of her point New Republic that the “womb” of the problem in the case of OPEKEPE is the Declaration Submission Centers (KYD) concluded another witness statement, this time from the company Cognitera” cite ND sources and continue: “Furthermore, every day it is proven that the three companies – Neuropublic, Cognitera and GAIA Enterprise – are in many ways communicating vessels and are the definition of entanglement, as executives from the one company to another! Meanwhile, while PASOK talks about “transparency”, in practice it fears the … green truth. The party of Nikos Androulakis, led by the members who have been appointed to the investigation committee, are doing everything they can to keep the OPEKEPE case out of the light.”
According to the same sources, “a typical example is the indirect refusal of Harilaou Trikoupis to call as a witness the managing director of Cognitera Mr. Ioannis Koufoudakis – one of the two companies that owned the information system of OPEKEPE – and with his testimony would illuminate dark aspects and critical questions”.
“PASOK’s “hiding” cannot continue. As revealed by the rapporteur of the ND, Makarios Lazaridis, the key executives of both companies that managed the information system of OPEKEPE had longstanding political foundations and references to PASOK” state the sources of the ruling party and add:
“The tip of the thread is at Neuropublic, where executives who grew up and learned how to manage the system went “mutiny” along with some Unions, creating Cognitera.
It is indicative that in the case file there is a reference to the company by a self-governing agent of Northern Greece, who testifies that according to information he received from livestock farmers, a certain person had assured them not to worry about aid rights, even though they did not have property titles. He reportedly said he would “take care” of the process himself, citing his connections with Cognitera SA, which “did the allocation” of the lands for him and ensured that even public lands were shown as suitable and “eligible” for aid.
“New Democracy is not going to follow PASOK in the game of cat and mouse. He will insist on the investigation of the case in depth, because that is what the citizens demand” conclude the ND sources.
