The traffic accident occurred on the Antirrio Highway – Nafpaktou At 22:30 on Saturday night (31/5/25) when a man, a professional florist, was dragged by a passing vehicle and left his last breath.
According to Lepantortv, the unfortunate florist was in the area as he had taken over the decoration of the wedding table that was ongoing at that time in Nafpaktos, when, under uncertain conditions so far, he was hit by a passing car while he was on foot.
EKAB ambulance and patrols of Nafpaktia arrived at the spot, but despite the recovery efforts man passed away.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident and cooperates with the authorities.
