The President of the PASOK Change Nikos Androulakis spoke of the economic and demographic decline of the Greek region, in his address to local bodies in SEK. Geraki Laconia.
Mr. Androulakis emphasized the need “the Region to become attractive both for the residents to stay and for the motivation to repatriate those who left for urban centers or abroad”. He added that it will be achieved with quality public health and education, road networks, primary sector and manufacturing.
He also pointed out the opportunity of the Peloponnese as a virgin tourist area, explaining that “if we invest in the primary sector and manufacturing, the tourist product of the next decades in the region will be of high quality, such as central Italy and southern Spain, where most travelers are supplying local products.
PASOK’s president noted the importance of low -cost energy production, as, as he said, “in the end we are all consumers of renewable energy produced by the domestic oligarchy. The question, then, is not if we have RES, but to whom they belong. “
Nikos Androulakis said that the vision was about a sustainable and healthy economy for the Greek region and concluded:
“The enormous cost of production and the huge cost of living must be addressed by overthrowing today’s policy and a robust regional development policy.
