A 57 -year -old alien arsonist confessed that he had put four different fires on August 15, 2025 in different parts of the Mytilene region. Lately, many investigations are being carried out to find arsonists.
According to reports, among the fires admitted by the arsonist, including the one that has completely burned down with about 400 straw balls, causing serious material damage and mobilizing large firefighting forces.
The step of the Arson Criminal (DEEE) Criminal Court of Appeal, which went to Mytilene, found the suspect, in collaboration with ELAS investigators, who was driven for questioning and then confessed to his actions.
According to investigating officials, his motivation was to retaliate his fellow citizens.
In fact, he confessed that he put the first two fires for the two tenants on the land on Tuesday because he “blurred”, while on the fourth to disorient the investigations.
The case does not fall within the limits of the self -esteem, however, the case file will be submitted immediately to the competent prosecutor, who is expected to issue an arrest warrant after the arsonist’s apology is completed.
