The evolution is the bad weather, which sweeps the Cyclades, and in particular, at the center, is Paros and Mykonos. After Paros, a message was sent through 112 was sent to the residents of Mykonos island informing them of the ban on road traffic on the road network.
Specifically the message states:

On the alert the armed forces
In increased readiness the Armed force of the country, after the issuance of the Extraordinary Bulletin weather from the National Meteorological Service (NMS). The aim is to provide immediate assistance to civil protection, if necessary, for the protection of citizens and to deal with possible disasters.
Particular care is given to the Cyclades, where bad weather is expected to hit several areas. In this context, the Management of Construction and District Disaster (DIAFKA) has been put on full operational readiness. In particular, in Paros and other areas of the Cyclades, its scales are ready to take action, providing assistance to repair damage and support local authorities.
The coordinated preparation is part of the broader Civil Protection Plan and is proof of close cooperation between military and civilian structures for citizens’ security in times of crisis.
The municipality of Athens is on hand
The Municipality of Athens is on alert to face any flooding phenomena that may be caused, following the emergency weather report issued by the NMS.
Specifically, the Municipality of Athens has put the Cleaning & Recycling Directorate on alert, to intervene immediately where needed with project machines, as well as two water reproduction workshops:
– one on the hill of Lycabettus (along with a project machine)
– One in the 4th Municipal Community at the intersection of Aimonos & Antigoni streets, in order to meet whatever need arises in Cologne.

Civil Protection Recommendations to Citizens
Recommendations to citizens are addressed by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection in order to be particularly careful, ensuring that self -protection measures arise from the manifestation of severe weather.
According to the EMY’s emergency report, the phenomena will be locally dangerous:
A. In the Cyclades from noon Monday (31-03-25) to the morning hours of Tuesday (01-04-25).
B. in the islands of the Eastern Aegean (mainly Samos-Ikaria-Chios area) from Monday night (31-03-25) to Tuesday afternoon (01-04-25).
C. In the Dodecanese on Tuesday (01-04-25) from the early morning to the evening.
D. In Eastern Solidarity (including Attica) and Euboea from Monday afternoon (31-03-25) until the early hours of Tuesday (01-04-25).
E. in Thessaly and the Sporades from the early hours of Tuesday (01-04-25) to the evening of the same day.
The General Secretariat for Civil Protection (civilProtection.gov.gr) of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection has informed the competent officials involved in state agencies, as well as the regions and municipalities of the country, in order to be on increased political protection in order to address the impact of the events.
At the same time, as the Fire Brigade states in its announcement, the operational plan is implemented to address the risk of flooding as well as their accompanying phenomena, while the fire departments of the areas that are expected to occur, have been raised by the facts that have been raised in a state of increasing.
In particular, in areas where heavy rainfall, thunderstorms or stormy winds are foreseen, the GAPS recommends to citizens:
-Insure objects that, if carried away by severe weather events, may cause disasters or injuries.
-Make sure the houses and housing gutters are not clogged and function properly.
-Avoid crossing streams and streams, pedestrian or vehicle during thunderstorms and rainfall, but also for several hours after the end of their event
-Avoid rural work and activities in marine and coastal areas during intense weather (risk of lightning falls).
-To protected immediately during a hailstorm. To resort to a building or car and not leave the safe space unless they are confirmed that the storm passed. Quartzing can also be very dangerous for animals.
-Avoid passing under large trees, under posted plates and generally from areas, where light objects (eg pots, broken glazing, etc.) can be detached and fall to the ground (eg below balconies).
-Following the instructions of the local authorities, such as Traffic Police, etc.
