According to the results of the recent poll of MRB, the New Democracy has a clear lead in the intention of voting, confirming its sovereignty in the political scene. The ruling party is ahead of the other formations, which marks the stability of its electoral base despite any challenges.
MRB poll presents the following rates in the intention of voting:
New Democracy: 22.7%
Freedom navigation: 11.9%
PASOK: 10.1%

KKE: 6.5%
SYRIZA: 4.2%

The intention of voting by age
At the age of 35 to 44, the New Democracy is in the first place with 22.4%. Following is 14.5%, while PASOK holds 7%and a 5.6%Greek solution.
In the 45 to 54 -year -old group, there is an interesting phenomenon, as the New Democracy and the Greek solution raise from 15.8%. PASOK follows with 11% and the win with 7.7%.
For voters aged 55 to 64, the New Democracy maintains the lead with 22.4%.
Freedom navigation is noteworthy 18.6%, while PASOK is at 6.7%and the Greek solution at 5.6%.
Finally, in the group of over 65 years (65+), New Democracy records a very high rate, reaching 38.2%. PASOK follows with 13.1%, the KKE with 10.3%and the Greek solution with 5.7%.
The Cruise of Freedom Cruise
According to data, freedom navigation achieves a total rally of 82.4%. This high percentage suggests that the party manages to maintain much of the voters who have chosen it in the past.
At the same time, the poll also highlights voters’ movements to the navigation of freedom by other parties:

The most appropriate prime minister
Concerning the suitability for the prime minister’s post, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in the first place. Specifically, 23.4% of respondents consider him the most appropriate for this post, increasing 2 points.
Following is Zoe Konstantopoulou, who garnered a remarkable rate of 11.2%, decreasing 2 points. Kyriakos Velopoulos is 6.7%in third, with a rise in 0.8 points. Nikos Androulakis follows 5.4%, recording an increase of 0.7 points. Dimitris Koutsoubas records 2.6% in the preferences for the most appropriate prime minister, a decrease of 0.7 points.
Further, other political figures are single -digit percentages: Yiannis Varoufakis with 2%, Stefanos Kasselakis with 2%, Aphrodite Latinopoulou with 2%, Socrates Famellos with 1.9%, Dimitris Natsidis with 1.7%and 1.7%.
It is important to note that a large proportion of respondents, in particular 32.5%, chooses … the “none” as the most appropriate prime minister.
The lifting of permanence in the public
The prime minister’s announcement of a proposal to remove the permanence of civil servants in the context of the next constitutional review has sparked a variety of reactions and reflections in Greek society.
- 39.8% of respondents believe that the prime minister’s report was made for purely political reasons. This suggests that a significant portion of public opinion considers the proposal as part of a political strategy and not as a substantial reform intent.
- A 22.8% replied that the report was aimed at better controlling public administration. This view focuses on the effectiveness and accountability of the public sector.
- 17.2% of citizens estimate that the proposal was made because the prime minister believes that this will be upgraded the public administration. This perspective links the removal of permanence to the qualitative upgrading of the services provided.
- Finally, 12.2% believe that the report was made because the prime minister really believes that it is an essential reform. This percentage expresses the conviction that the proposal stems from a genuine reform mood.
The government’s stance on the Gaza Strip
64.9% of respondents disagree with the government’s attitude. Of these, 42.6% say “definitely disagree” and 22.3% “rather disagree”.
On the contrary, the percentage of citizens agreeing with the government’s attitude is 18.1%. More specifically, 5.1% say “definitely agree” and 13% “rather agree”.
Finally, 16.9% of respondents did not express an opinion.
The tragedy in Tempi
The next question in the poll records the citizens’ view of the government’s efforts to clarify the Tempe case. The results show a clear tendency to mistrust towards government actions.
Specifically, 77.2% of respondents believe that the government “probably not” or “definitely not” does everything it can to have a lot of light on the causes of the tragedy. More specifically, 62.1% say “certainly no” and 15.1% “probably not”. This rate decreases compared to March 2025 (78.5%) and January 2025 (81.1%), but remains at extremely high levels.
On the contrary, only 21.3% of citizens believe that the government is doing everything it can to clarify the case. Of these, 6.9% responds “definitely yes” and 14.4% “probably yes”.
A small percentage of 1.6% of respondents chose “D/D” (I don’t know/don’t answer).
