When does the parliamentary group meet
By decision of the Prime Minister and President of the New Democracy on the post of secretary of her parliamentary group New Democracy It is proposed by the MP of Larissa of ND, Maximos Harakopoulos.
The New Democracy Parliamentary Group will meet under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on September 19th on the election of a parliamentary secretary.
In his statement, Mr. Harakopoulos described the decision of Kyriakos Mitsotakis as “particularly honorable and challenging even more actively”.
Maximos Harakopoulos pointed out that the final judgment of his candidacy is in the hands of ND MPs. And he added that all party members must further assist the government’s legislative work.
“The proposal made by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to take over the responsible position of the Secretary General of the New Democracy Parliamentary Group is undoubtedly highly honored, but also a more active contribution to the lineup at a special time.
And that’s why I accept it and thank him for the confidence he shows in my face and on my political journey. Of course, the final judgment of my candidacy is in the hands of my friends colleagues in the party’s parliamentary group, “Mr Harakopoulos said in his statement and added:
“In any case, the next secretary general of our parliamentary group is called upon to continue the difficult task of undertaken by the late Apostolos Vesyropoulos, whose unequivocal death shocked us all.
