Alarm rang today (19.07.2025) to two airports to Moscowwhich interrupted their operation in the afternoon for security reasons, as announced by the Russian Civil Aviation Service Rosaviatsia.
In particular, Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports in Moscow stopped operating because security issues arose, possibly related to air threats from Ukraine.
However, Russian airports have now returned, after Russian anti -aircraft defense has shot down three unmanned aircraft heading to Moscow, the city’s mayor, Sergei Sobianin, said.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that anti -aircraft defense systems have identified and destroyed a total of 27 Ukrainian roads from 3 to 7 pm today (19.07.2025), including four in the Moscow area, 15 in Bryansk, two in Kaluga.
