For the wild beating of his 13-year-old son in Muscat spoke the child’s father explaining that everything started from a misunderstanding.
As the father of the 13-year-old who was beaten up in Moschato reveals, the perpetrators have set up a gang in the area called “183”, which is derived from the postal code of the area.
The incident happened last Saturday night (25.10.2025) in the parking lot in front of the power station as his father told SKAI.
“On Saturday, around 20:40 I was outside Athens, my son calls me and says ‘Dad, 15 people have beaten me badly, I have no battery in my mobile phone, what should I do?'” His father replied that he had seen exactly where he was from the mobile signal, to stay there so that someone would come and pick him up.
“The child – second high school student – the had been beaten by 15 people, whom he did not know, they were not from his school“, the father said and explained that the reason for the beating was a phrase his son said to a friend of his, with whom he was in the park. But at that moment, it seems that one of the gang members was in front, who asked the 13-year-old: “Did you say that to me?». Although the child refused, saying “no, to my friend, she’s my bestie”, he replied: “Well, you’ll see what happens”.
As he said, after a while, 15 people arrived at the park and started beating his son in a brutal way. “My child handled it very cool, he didn’t raise a hand, he was just trying to avoid the blows. ‘They were hitting me, they were kicking me, Dad,’ he told me».
Some of the perpetrators of the attack are known to the Security, as police officers told the father when he went there to make the complaint. They even informed him that they have set up a peculiar “gang” called “183”, from the postal code of Moschato.
«The child is scared, does not want to go out, does not want to go to school, but he must go on with his life,” said the father.
As announced by the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of Moschato – Tavros in the afternoon hours of Sunday 26-10-2025, six of those who hit the 13-year-old were arrested. The arrested are 14 and 15 years oldn and against them a case was filed for bodily harm to a weak person as an accomplice, while nine minors are also included in the case.
Police officers of the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes in Moschato – Tavros, after a preliminary investigation, identified the six defendants and arrested them in Moschato.
Additional, their parents were also arrested for neglecting to supervise their minor children.
As the police report, indicative of the brazenness shown by the accused, is the fact that after the completion of the attack against the 13-year-old, one of the assailants approached him and slapped him in the face.
