Monemvasia: Two men dead from a house fire – They were found charred

Two dead are the tragic toll of fire which broke out early this morning, Tuesday (10.12.24) at a house in Monemvasia.

The fire occurred under so far unknown circumstances in a residential area in Papadianikon, Monemvasia municipality.

During the extinguishing, the fire brigade found two charred bodies. According to ERT, these are men, possibly foreigners.

When the fire broke out, one person managed to get out of the area, who was taken to the hospital with respiratory problems, as the same source reports.

Three firefighters with one vehicle responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
