Mitsotakis: We have a way to impose a reduction in Retail Prices

In relation to the power market, Kyriakos Mitsotakis linked the wholesale electricity with the obligation of suppliers to adjust the final charges. He noted that the government has the means to ensure that consumer reductions are passed on and that this direction will be implemented.

On the front of accuracy, the prime minister emphasized that the priority of the tax reform is families, especially those who have children. He described these interventions as substantial support for price and pointed out that the problem of inflation remains, as the economy “carries” in previous years of crisis.

For food, he said that prices are in better shape lately than before, adding that the debate on precision is at the heart of government initiatives. The direction, as he described, are the targeted interventions that are directly imprinted in the cartridge cart and in the energy accounts.
